We design & build the following products for our residential and commercial customers:

We offer a wide range of materials including pine, cedar, exotic hardwood, composite decking, and many low maintenance materials. We also offer a guarantee that is unique to the decking industry. A third party guarantee of job completion and warranty performance is provided by the National Guarantee Corporation and is a standard offering to our customers.

We specialize in building new outdoor environments with a combination of materials. Wood and Stone (or low maintenance composite and stone if you prefer) is a popular blending of materials that creates a natural flow to your outdoor environment. We are one of the few companies in the Chicagoland area who can design and build decks or screen porches as well as your new paver patio. These are our favorite projects!

Archadeck “The Backyard Company” has designed and created outdoor livings spaces for the northern counties of the Chicago community since the spring of 2004. In design we focus on understanding the project. It is our goal to create outdoor living spaces that match our clients functional, aesthetic, spatial, and budgetary priorities. David & Kristen Berryhill, own (and operate) Archadeck “The Backyard Company”, which is part of the nationally known network of Archadeck offices. In 2004 we earned rookie of the year honors as the best new member of the Archadeck family. Since then we have grown in many ways. We have added employee carpenters to replace most of our sub contractors, we have diversified in the projects we create, we have improved in our service to our clients, and we have expanded our geographic service to include Lake & McHenry Counties as well as portions of N.W. Cook.
